Thomas Dillon Obituary

ROCK HILL - Mr. Thomas James Dillon Jr., 77, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Dillon was born in New York City, N.Y., and was the son of the late Thomas James Dillon Sr. and the late Marie Donovan Dillon. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and retired from Imperial Chemical Company as their CFO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a Shriner and a member of the YMCA.

Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife, Lola Carillo Dillon; his sons, Thomas James Dillon III of Cliffton, N.J., and David J. Dillon of Rock Hill; his daughter, Lisa A. Rodriquez and husband, James of Rockaway, N.J.; his brother, John D. Dillon of Palm Coast, Fla.; his sister, Patricia A. Ward of Trumbull, Conn.; his five granddaughters; and his six great-grandchildren.

All services for Mr. Dillon will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
