Vicki Lambert Obituary
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Ronnie Fite officiating.
A Fort Mill native, Vicki was a daughter of the late Willard Cornelius Lambert and Peggy Jean Rayfield Lambert. She was a 1969 graduate of Fort Mill High School with perfect attendance. Vicki proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and then served with the Air National Guard. She went on work at the American Legion Post No. 43 for 22 years retiring as club manager. During her retirement she worked as a home health care giver and was able to help many families care for their aging and ill relatives. Vicki loved her nieces and nephews and delighted in doing things for people.
Surviving are her brother, Donald Lambert of Fort Mill; three sisters, Linda Whiteside (David) of Fort Mill, Terry Pettus (Mike) of Chester and Karen Porter of Surfside Beach; nieces and nephews, David Whiteside Jr., Mitch Porter, Donna Roberts, Candice Humphries and Jamie Lambert.
In lieu of flowers, Vicki requested that her family and friendsvisit or do a good deed for an elderly or sick person.
