Arlene Mae Lockwitz, 81, of Stevensville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville with Pastor Jesse Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Arlene was born July 31, 1940, in the house her father built in Watervliet, to Amos and Agnes (Sweeny) Rosewall.
She graduated from Hartford High School in 1959 and then attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis.
On March 9, 1968, she married Myron Lockwitz in Hartford.
Arlene worked a few years with Van Buren State Bank and then People Savings and Loan Associates, before she found her calling with Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital. For 32 years, Arlene proudly served many departments of the hospital as an administrative clerk. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was involved with Ladies Aid and the Alter Guild. Arlene loved helping others. She volunteered her time cooking with her husband for athletic games at Michigan Lutheran High School for 18 years. She also enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Myron Lockwitz; sons: David (Belinda) Lockwitz and Mark (Kimberly) Lockwitz; five grandchildren: Christopher Snyder, Holly Lockwitz, Lois Lockwitz, Lillian Lockwitz and Victor Lockwitz; and brother, Alvin Rosewall.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Lockwitz; and two half-brothers.
