Barbara Ann Keeler, 88, of Stevensville passed away on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
Barbara was born on Feb. 17, 1935, in Benton Harbor to Chester and Catherine (Mielke) Groh.
She attended Benton Harbor schools and on Dec. 10, 1955, she married Charles Keeler.
Barbara worked for Schug Drug Store in Berrien Springs, as well as Lakeland Hospital in the kitchen. Barbara always had a sense of humor and enjoyed knitting, her cats and the holidays. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Scott) Glenn; grandchildren: Jillian Jakubs, Sarah May, Christina Shaw, Kyle Shaw, Amanda Keeler, Deanna Glenn and Kayla Kaczka; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Susan Stoes and Anne Kilcorse.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, John Keeler; daughter, Rebecca May; infant son, David; and sister, Kathy Groh Ewing.
Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Chapel in Berrien Springs. Memorials mawy be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service or the American Diabetes Association.
