Barbara Rapert Obituary
Barbara Maria Rapert, 63, of Benton Harbor peacefully passed on Feb. 7, 2025, at home.
A service celebrating her life will be held at noon, March 6 at the Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor. Please visit www.robbins brothersfh.com to sign the guest book online.
Barbara, the beloved daughter of Charles and Annamarie Ivy, was born on Aug. 20, 1961, in Bamburg, Germany.
Tragically, Barbara's life was cut short by aggressive brain cancer. Despite her illness, she maintained her strength and grace, fighting it as best she could until the very end.
Barbara leaves behind her son, Tyler Rapert; her brother, Hans Ivy; nieces and nephews, Frank Antes, Jacob Antes and Jessica Ashby; her beloved kitty Comet; as well as others. She was a devoted mother, always putting her family first.
Barbara had a passion for puzzles, reading, taking care of animals and gardening. She could often be found tending to her garden or spending time with her cat, enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and love will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
