Charles Bisbo Obituary

Charles Nelson Bisbo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021, at the age of 83.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. on July 11, 2021 at Riverview Park, St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph.

Charles enjoyed working his whole life. Charles retired from LECO after 42 years and continued working many years at St. Joe Harding's Friendly Market and Roger's Foodland. Charles looked forward to his Sunday phone calls with his family this last year, never missed one.

Charles was born Nov. 30, 1937 in Benton Harbor, and spent his adult years in St. Joseph.

He married Pauline (Peg) Bisbo on Dec. 18, 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Peg) Bisbo; his son, Philip Bisbo; daughter, Charla Bisbo; stepdaughter, Christine (Chip) Hornburg; grandchildren: Erica (Hector) Rosales, D.J. Howley, Alexandria Howley and Logan Duscha, Chad Hornburg, Chelsea Hornburg, Cassidy Hornburg; and great-grandchildren: Annaleigh Rosales, Ariella Rosales, Alaya Rosales, Acela Rosales and Easton Decker.

Charles is preceded in death by mother, Ella (Floyd) Larmon; and father, William Bisbo; sister, Shirley Weiner; and his first wife, Vivien Bisbo.

Until we meet again. We think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.
