Gavin Alexander Dustin Davis, 21, of Berrien Center, the biggest Juice WRLD fan, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Gavin was born on June 18, 2003, in Niles.
Gavin was everything that is good in this world, he was so caring. Even though he had his own personal struggles, he always took the time to make your life better. His smile lit the way in every darkened room. He possessed the most loving heart. If you were lucky enough to know Gavin, you knew he was truly exceptional!
His love for us all was of the purest form, every child and animal felt safe and cherished, not to mention he would always take the time to make sure they all knew how special they were. No matter what he was doing throughout his life, he made sure to keep everyone laughing with a punchline at the right spontaneous moments.
Through his fears, he always managed to somehow help someone else. You could never doubt his love for family and friends – he is and will forever be a remarkable person. He loved cars, motorcycles, guns of every kind and he was a high-level gamer. Yet through his many distractions and his constant battles, he lost his fight against his demons. He will be forever loved and eternally missed.
Gavin is survived by his mother, Amy (Frank Lash) Clark of South Haven; his father, Che (Michaela) Davis of Berrien Center; siblings: Che (April) Davis Jr., Carrina Zollinger, Samuel Price, Bailey (Jordan) Davis, Darian Davis, Fiona (Joshua) Davis, Logan Lash, Drake Lash, Logan Blakeman, Tessa Rae Blakeman and Jackson Miller and numerous nieces and nephews and many other extended family; as well as his best friend that never left his side, Drew Myers.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel in St. Joseph, with the Pokagon Tribe conducting services. Visitation with the family precedes the service from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gavin was the one of the most caring people I ever knew, he always made sure we didn't worry. He always offered to help me with my wrestling. I regret not saying hi or what're you doing or even I love you because when I found out that he died I knew that I wasn't going to be able to have a face to face conversation with him again. I just wish I could give him a hug and tell him how much I loved him one last time.
