Janice R. Andersen, 88, of St. Joseph passed on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Janice was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Tyler, Texas, to Hubert and Lola (Lang) Roberts. In 1957, Janice married her first husband, Roland Webb, and together they had three children. Later in life, Janice married William Andersen in 1977. The two remained married until his passing in 1999. In her professional life, Janice was an oral surgeon assistant for 25 years for Dr. Roger Kallal. She was a proud sponsor of the Southwestern Michigan Symphony Orchestra and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Janice was a sweet, gentle woman, who never met a stranger – she loved to talk with everyone she met. She loved birds and her garden. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Kim Webb of St. Joseph; granddaughter, Chantelle Webb of Las Vegas; and brother, James Summers of Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Hubert and Lola; husbands: Roland Webb and William Andersen; sons: Grant Webb and Carl J. Webb and sister, Lois Davis.

Jan was such a fine lady and the kindest of souls! She loved the beauty of art and nature around her and was so young at heart! It was my honor to know her and have her as a friend for almost 50 years. I loved her and will miss her!
