Jennifer Gerstenkorn, 42, of St. Joseph passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
A celebration of life service will be be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph with Pastor Jesse Knox officiating. Friends can visit from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Caring Circle Hospice, Berrien County Cancer Service or the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan – Yeager Family Pet Shelter.

Jennifer was born Aug. 16, 1979, in Berrien Springs, to Manfred and Teresa (Masterson) Gerstenkorn.
She graduated from Michigan Lutheran High School in 1997.
Jennifer was a hard worker, and at times worked two or three jobs, her last one was as manager of Coloma Lanes. She loved cooking, arts and crafts, kayaking and listening to music. She loved spending time with family and friends. At family gatherings, Jenny was in charge of cooking her Oma and Nonny's family favorites. She loved to help others, and took care of her Nonny before her passing. Although she didn't have kids of her own, she was a great mom to her dog, Oliver James, and she cared for many of her friends' kids.
Jennifer is survived by her parents, Manfred and Teresa Gerstenkorn; sisters, Julie Gerstenkorn (fiancé Corey Feiner) and Anyla Feiner; brother, Jason Gerstenkorn (fiancée Zoe Peterman); and nephew, Jack Thomas. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by Nonny and Papa Masterson; Oma and Opa Gerstenkorn; and uncle, Kenny Carr.
