Jesse passed away suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at his home in Watervliet.
Jesse was a drywall installer by trade. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his beautiful daughters. Jesse had a heart of gold and loved to aggravate and make people laugh.
Jesse leaves behind to cherish his memory his two daughters: Kelsey Leann and Karlianne Marie Howell; his mother, Betty Taylor; his sisters: Carolyn (Bill) Johnson, and Cheryl Johnson; and two nieces and three nephews. He is also leaving behind a special cousin, James Howell, who he considered his brother.
Jesse is predeceased by his father, Jessie C. Howell; his stepfather, Lonnie Johnson; and his grandparents: Opal and J.C. Howell, and Maude and Arthur Blodgett Sr.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Watervliet Free Methodist Church, followed by a service to honor Jesse's life. Pastor Brian Hall will officiate.
Jesse will be laid to rest next to his father in North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, in the Garden of Love.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to his daughters.
The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
