Kathy Lynn (Brown) McCrary, 41, of Coloma transitioned to heaven on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, while surrounded by the people she loved the most. Her life was cut way too short after an inspiring battle with cancer.
Kathy was the most caring and most amazing person, with a heart of a million people. She will never be forgotten.
Kathy was born on May 4, 1980, in St. Joseph to the most incredible mother, Patty.
She graduated from Coloma High School in 1999, and went on to meet the love of her life, Chris. He fell in love with her instantly, and they have been happily married for 23 wonderful years.
Kathy's greatest joy in life was her son, Ethan. She loved to watch him play baseball, basketball and football. It always lit her face with a smile.
Kathy was a lover of all animals and insects, and was known to rescue anything in need. She was always up for an adventure. Kathy loved walking miles on the beach to hunt for beach glass with her bestie, Jill Bilton.
Kathy was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was loved by everyone she met. She was blessed to have such a supportive large group of friends, especially from the Berrien Springs community.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Christopher McCrary; son, Ethan (Bubba) McCrary; mother, Patricia Brown; brothers, Thomas Ketcham and Daniel Ketcham; and nephew, Thomas Justin Ketcham.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
