Kenneth W. Pratcher

Kenneth Wayne Pratcher, 23, of Battle Creek, Mich., departed this life on Oct. 29, 2023, in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Robbins Brothers Funeral with visitation starting at 11 a.m. followed by services at noon. Those wishing to sign a guestbook may do so at robbinsbrothersfh.com.

Kenneth, affectionately known as "Bam" was born on Feb. 5, 2000, to Kelvin and Rena Pratcher in St. Joesph. Kenneth was a fun-loving and energetic person, who loved playing basketball, and video games with his close cousins and friends. He also loved making TikTok videos with his niece, Ava.

Kenneth received his formal education in the Battle Creek School System.

Kenneth's hearty laughter and high-energy personality will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Rena Pratcher; brothers: Kelvin "Lil K" Anthony Pratcher Jr., and Terrence Harvell; sisters: Kelvesha Pratcher and Verlira Pratcher; son, Jy'Aire Joshawn Johnson Pratcher; special cousins: Daryl Gill Jr., Chardaze London, Shantai Pratcher, and LaQuan Bulter Jr.; special friends: Aaron Washington, Lyondre Burnett and Raekwon Jackson; grandparents: George and Mary Harvell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kelvin Anthony Pratcher Sr.; cousins: Darius "Karate" Wimberly, Samurai D. Lowe; grandfather, Otis Gilliams, grandfather, Willie B. Pratcher; and grandmother, Verlira Pratcher.
