Michael Henry Williams was born Aug. 29, 1951. He was the son of James and Loma Williams.
Mike, as he was known to everyone, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Corewell Health Merlin & Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his cat, Miss Kitty, along with working on his antique tractors. He loved being in the outdoors with nature, helping out at the Van Buren Sportsmen's Club, while also sitting on his bench by the river with a beer in hand. He enjoyed going to the lake to watch the boats, people and water, or going on long car cruises to nowhere special. His favorite pastimes were going fishing from the bank of a lake or going to antique tractor shows. He will be missed.
The family will welcome friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. As to Mike's wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Van Buren Sportsmen's Club. Memorial condolences for the family can be left on our website at www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory his life partner, Rose Kidd; a half-sister, Caroline Price; two stepsisters: Fran Collins and Karen Skinner; Rose's children: Bobby (Jesse) Kidd, and their three sons: Keagan, Wyatt and Owen and Andi (Lee) Shoemake, and their daughter, Aubrey and a very special nephew, Jimi (Melissa) Williams.
