Narlo Schiesser Obituary
Narlo Hansen Schiesser, 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service, 3900 Hollywood Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Narlo was born on April 9, 1965, in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil, the daughter of the late Nelson and Nadia (Couto) Hansen. Known as "Chef Narlo," she owned and operated Savors & Secrets as a personal chef. Narlo grew up in Lages, Brazil, and came to the United States in 2004.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria Pereira; family friend, Ricardo Schiesser and siblings: Daniela Couto Hansen and Fernanda Hansen Nakamae.
Narlo was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Couto.
