Peter Allen Wagoner, 41, of St. Joseph went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 4, 2021, after a short and sudden illness at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph.
A memorial service for Peter will be at 3 p.m. Monday, June 14, at the Road to Life Church, 3800 Niles Road, St. Joseph. Pastors Stephen Wagoner and Mike Schoeplein will officiate.

Peter was born to Phillip and Rosemary (Gray) Wagoner in Goshen, Ind., on Jan. 27, 1980. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1998.
On May 18, 2002, he married Taia Pletcher in Syracuse, Ind.
Peter then graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He worked for Whirlpool Corp. for 18 years as a mechanical engineer. While working at Whirlpool, he went back to school and graduated in 2009 from Western Michigan University with a master's degree, also in mechanical engineering.
Peter was an active member of the Road to Life Church, where he served for more than 12 years as the praise band keyboardist and also served on the board of directors. Peter's life consisted of family and church. He was a great husband, father and provider for his family, always putting their needs before his.
Peter is survived by his wife of 19 years, Taia; sons: Micah and Josiah; daughter, Starla; parents: Phillip and Rosemary Wagoner; and sister, Holly (Philip) Kuhn.
