Robert Alexander Brenner, born Dec. 27, 1931, lived in Northport, Mich., for more than 40 years. Robert passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 93.

Bob met the love of his life, Betty Robandt, when she had to sit on his lap while riding home from a movie theatre in Benton Harbor. They were married on Oct. 4, 1952. Together they built two houses, their first home in St. Joseph, and their retirement home in Northport. They also built two cabins together. They would have celebrated their 73rd anniversary this year.
Bob loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and football enthusiast. He loved his trips to Canada with family and friends, especially to go fishing at Kaby Lodge. Football was his favorite sport. He loved cheering on the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and the Detroit Lions. He was a true fan through and through!
