Sally Garberson-Keller was called home to our Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021, after succumbing to injuries she endured from an unfortunate car accident on April 1, 2021, while returning home to Michigan after wintering in Mesa, Ariz., with her husband, Glenn Keller.
Born June 12, 1938, to Lloyd and Vida Marshall in Benton Harbor; Sally was one of eight children. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School.
Sally married William Garberson and they raised their three children. Sally worked at Zenith Data System, Farm Bureau Insurance and eventually retired from Wollin Products, where after the loss of her husband, William, she met and married Glenn.
Sally was an active member of the Christian Reformed Church for over 57 years. A woman of faith with a servant's heart, Sally displayed endless energy that amazed us all. Some of her favorite pastimes included playing cards and board games, gardening, hiking and reading. Sally was famous for her homemade coffee cakes, which she generously distributed on Christmas. At 70 years old Sally learned to play golf. She had recently picked up lapidary while wintering in Arizona and made beautiful jewelry. During summer Sally was fond of spending lazy days at her daughter's lake cottage with her family, whom she loved dearly.
Sally is survived by her husband, Glenn Keller; siblings: Cathy Campbell, Aline Norwood, Larry Marshall and Donald Marshall; daughters: Rhonda Kuntz and Connie (Thomas) Harmon; grandchildren: Tyler Harmon, Amber Harmon and Jared Kuntz; stepdaughter, Christine (Paul) Czech and Dawn (George) Baker; step-granddaughters: Neveah Czech, Keller Czech and Morgan Baker.
She was proceeded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Vida Marshall; husband, William Garberson; son, Daniel Garberson; granddaughter, Rachel Harmon; and siblings: Myrtle Thar, Janet Wesco and Ronald Marshall.
Visitation will be from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Friday April 16, with a service at 11:30 a.m. at Christian Reformed Church, 3275 Washington Ave., St. Joseph. A luncheon will immediately follow at North Lake Park, 3600 Grand Mere Road, Stevensville.

I am so sorry. Sally was a good friend when we both worked at the employment office in Fayetteville, NC. She taught me how to make potato salad and I follow her directions yet.
