Ty'Sean Dawson Obituary

Ty'Sean Davion Dawson, 22, of Benton Harbor departed this life on Sept. 8, 2024. A private service will be held at a later date to honor his life.

Ty'Sean was born on June 23, 2002, in St. Joseph, to LaTasha Nimmer and Nathaniel Sparks. He was welcomed into the Dawson family, where he built lasting bonds of love and support. Ty'Sean was known for his vibrant spirit and enjoyed drawing, fishing, playing basketball and video games. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends; whether visiting, vacationing or simply being together. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Although Ty'Sean's time with us was brief, his presence, kindness and love will be remembered by all who knew him. His family awaits in the hope of the resurrection to see him once again.

Ty'Sean leaves behind many who will forever cherish his memory, including his mother, Monell Dawson of Benton Harbor; biological mother, Latasha L. Nimmer of Grand Rapids, Mich.; biological father, Nathaniel Sparks of Minnesota; sisters: Bre'Shonna A. Dawson, Re'Unna A. Dawson, Ty'Onna L. Wade, Ta'DaJah S.
