William Earl "JuJu" Calhoun Jr., 47, of Indianapolis, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 15, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital – Indianapolis, following a brief illness.
Homegoing services will be on Saturday, March 5, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with visitation at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m.

William was born on Dec. 8, 1974, to Helen and William "Earl" Calhoun Sr., at Memorial Hospital in St. Joseph.
He attended Benton Harbor Area Schools, and graduated Class of 1993.
On July 14, 2007, he married the love of his life, Sanquinella Taylor, to this blended marriage, three children were born. William was employed at Keurig Dr. Pepper in Indianapolis.
JuJu will forever be remembered in the hearts of his loving and dedicated wife, Sanquinella; daughters: Shaneka Outlaw-Calhoun, and Courtney Lewis; one son, Marcus Lewis; his parents: Earl and Helen Calhoun; grandchildren: Zaira, William, Cortaze, Tavarius and Autumn; god-children: Er'Lexia Booth and Ashanti and David Shaw Jr; sisters-in-law: Karen Taylor, Tracey (Kendrick) Logan and Sharon Tillman; brother-in-law, James Taylor; great-aunt, Annie Mae Humphrey; great-uncle, Robert Hampton; paternal grandmother, Vera Fryer; his grand-pup, Abbey; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Henry Jr. and Blossie Broyles and Ollie Fryer; and his paternal grandparents: Anderson and Essie Calhoun; uncles: Daniel, Michael and Dennis Broyles; and aunt, Mae Williams.
