William Leahey Obituary

William Francis Leahey III, M.D., 79, of St. Joseph passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Benton Harbor with burial taking place in Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. There will be a public memorial service announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, 556-9450.

Jeanette and family, I'm so very sorry to hear about Dr. Leahey. It was an honor working with him at Mercy Hospital in the X-Ray Department back in the 70's. He was a great Radiologist and such a kind person. I used to laugh especially, when Dr. Decker would call him "Wild Bill." May he rest in peace.
