William Moore Obituary

William Michael Moore was born on April 4, 1952, to William and Betty (Brown) Moore. He passed away on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at his home in Sister Lakes, Mich.

William was united in marriage with Brenda Clark and she survives along with a son, Steven Moore, his ex-wife, Janice Moore, two brothers: Marty Moore and Max Moore; a sister, Margie McDonald and two sisters-in-law: Linda Finehout and Carol Keen.

William was preceded in passing by a son, Michael Moore; his parents; a brother, Samuel Moore and his stepfather, Elmer Benedix.

William was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed at Auto Specialties, for many years until they closed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially cooking.

As per William's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Sister Lakes Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William's name may be made to the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
