Yanceyville, North Carolina - Mr. Aubrey Nelson Foster Sr., passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at his residence.
Aubrey was the son of the late Willie G. Foster and Adelaide Blackwell Foster, born December 15, 1937, in Caswell County, NC. He was a member of Mineral Spring Baptist Church, where he was a trustee.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and restaurateur who ran Pan Pan Diner in Durham, NC before retirement.
Aubrey leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Loretta W. Foster of the home; five daughters; Yvonne Warthen of Florida, Felicia Washington of Carrboro, NC, Erica Brown of St. Louis, MO, Audra Downey of Durham, NC and Audrey Foster of Durham, NC; one son, Aubrey Foster, Jr., of North East, MD; two sisters; one brother; and 14 grandchildren.
A Viewing will be Friday, February 10, 2023; from 2 PM to 7 PM with the family present from 6 PM to 7 PM in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February11, 2023 at 1:00 PM with family arriving 12:30 PM at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites.
