Raleigh, North Carolina - Helen McMillan Randolph, 89, of Peyton Street, Raleigh transitioned Saturday night at her residence. Native of Lumberton, N.C. Retired restaurant owner of the Ivy Room Restaurant, and employee of the Salvation Army. Funeral Saturday 12:00 noon, Sandy Grove Baptist Church, Lumberton, N.C. Interment Hilly Branch Cemetery. Public Viewing Thursday October 8, 2025, 7 p.m. at Steven Lyons Funeral Home, Raleigh, N.C. and Friday 4 - 7 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home, Lumberton. Arrangements by McMillan Funeral Home.

I worked at Inter-Faith Food Shuttle for 20 years. All the employees and volunteers who knew Ms. Helen admired her greatly. She made magic and love in that kitchen of hers! In a business where make-do is usual, the food she produced for her clients was always, always above and beyond. It did not matter who they were, or where they slept, she was going to feed their bodies and souls to the best of her ability. What higher calling could there be? Rest well Ms Helen.
