To Paul and entire Pipkin family,
Had the privilege to work a short time with Norman when he was at Durham P.D. before he left for VBPD.
He was a good officer, nice person and carried himself professionally. Praying for GOD´S peace and comfort to be with you now and forever.

To Sandy, Ruth and all the rest of the Pipkin family: I had the pleasure, and honor of serving with Norman for 21 years. He even ended his career walking my old AOR (Beat 21) at the Oceanfront. He was universally know throughout the VBPD as "THE nicest guy on the department," I never heard a single ill word about him in all those years, or since. Everyone knew him, and everyone loved him. His passing is a great loss to all of us, most of all, to the City of Virginia Beach. May he rest in eternal peace. Andare con Dio, il mio buon amico.
