Raleigh, North Carolina - John Winstead Dozier Sr., (Wynn) is survived by his son, John W. Dozier Jr; and Jr's mom, Linda Vaugh Blanton; brother, Arthur Lee Dozier III and his wife, Betty; twins; Theresa Dozier Hailey, Thomas A. Dozier; brother-in-law, J.E. Brannock II, eight nieces/nephews; numerous great-nieces/nephews; great-great-nieces/nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; Arthur Lee Dozier Jr., and Theresa Winstead Dozier; and sister, Doris Brannock.
Wynn was born on January 8, 1949. He was a lover of dogs; especially Charlie and Nicki. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, playing pool and get-togethers with family and friends. He was handsome, charming, smart, funny, and high spirited. He easily meet new people but never met a stranger.
