So sorry to hear about John's passing. Prayers are with you

January 22, 2018

Faye and family, I just heard today that John had passed away. I am so sorry. What a dean man he was, and what a dear woman you are. I wish I knew about his passing. I would have loved to attend his service. You two meant so much to Michael and me.

John, you were an example of the pinnacle of a gentleman. From tennis at Hollow Rock, Shrimp Boat and your time at DDI, I treasured the visits with you and your words of wisdom and of kindness. You have been an example to me of how to live.
I have, and continue , to think of you often.
As saddened as I am, I can only imagine how tough this is for your family. 78 years was a great gift, but we always want more.

Thank you for touching my life. I learned so much from you.
