Rev. Judi Frances Johnson Smith

January 23, 1942 - October 16, 2025

Angier, North Carolina - Angier, NC: Rev. Judi Frances Johnson Smith, age 83, of the McGee's Crossroads Community passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen. The family will receive friends following the service. A Private Burial will be held.

Rev. Smith was born on January 23, 1942 in Johnston County to the late James Ruffin and Frances Giles Johnson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Smith. Rev. Smith was a retired ordained minister with the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her sister, Sue J. Langdon of Angier; nephews, Connor and Duncan Barbour of Loris, South Carolina; her special cat, Betsy.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to the SECU Hospice House, P.O. Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577.
