To the family of Alice Dorociak:
I worked with Alice at JCPenney for the entire time she was employed there. She actually was a neighbor of mine in the Gulf Gate area. She was a wonderful co-worker and friend and I remember she came to my house many years ago when a large group of JCPenney employees had a "lottery" party. The group had purchased a quantity of tickets hoping to become millionaires. When Alice moved South of the mall, she had a superbowl party and she invited my son and me to watch Dallas beat the Buffalo Bills. (I was a Bills fan)
As the years rolled on, I saw Alice at Walgreens and she was always anxious to talk and share memories. At the time when she discovered cancer she told me about her concerns as she checked out my order. When I continued going to Walgreens and never saw her anymore, I asked the personnel there to tell her I was asking for her and sending her good wishes.
She was always family oriented and lots of fun. I will miss her.
