Barbara J. Suchanec born on December 1, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and departed on June 7, 2016.
Barbara is preceded in death by her spouse of 66 years, Steven Suchanec.
She worked in a variety of positions at Prudential Insurance Company spanning 26 year career that included Director of Personnel and EEOC.
She is survived by her five children, Barb O'Connor, Mark (Patty) Suchanec, Leslye (Barry) Seidel, Matthew (Lisa) Suhanec, Michael (Michele) Suchanec, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was an active member of St. Thomas More Church as a member of the Women's Club, Collection Committee as well as a Eucharistic Minister.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor to Tidewell Sarasota Hospice House, 5957 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL. 34238 or to your favorite charity. Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Gulf Gate Chapel in charge of arrangements.
