Donna Eli Obituary

Donna Sands Eli, 59, died peacefully at her Nokomis home surrounded by her family and friends. Donna was born in Ramstien, Germany to William Henry and Marjorie Stilwell Sands. Her father was a colonel in the Air Force, and she grew up traveling around the United States during his military career. After graduating high school, Donna worked in printing sales and service for 37 years. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Taylor Williams Eli; her children, Chad Everett Ward (Lauren), Travis James Ward, Marshall Cody Eli (Megan); her siblings; Candace L. Morris of Ocala Florida, Marsha Marie Sands of Venice, Florida, Bill Sands of Dallas, Texas, and Jim Sands of Parker, Colorado; as well as many beloved extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sat, July 23rd at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church at 208 Palm Ave in Nokomis, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.
