Francis (Frank) DiNardo, Sr., 79 of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Easton and Southport, CT entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2013, at the Arden Court Assisted Living facility in Sarasota, Florida. Born in Bridgeport, CT on March 8, 1934, he was the youngest child of the late Salvatore DiNardo, Sr. and Annuniata (Nancy) Papale. Frank was the youngest brother to six sisters and six brothers, all of whom became successful entrepreneurs, political activists and charitable contributors to the Bridgeport community. Frank's father Salvatore emigrated to the US from Naples, Italy in 1912. In the 1940s Frank's brothers secured the 11th car dealership license ever issued by the state of CT and opened DiNardo Brothers used car dealership on North Ave. in Bridgeport and Norwalk Motors used car dealership in Norwalk, CT. After graduating high school from Fairfield Prep, Frank entered the US Navy in 1952 and joined his brothers in the car business in 1956. Expanding upon his success in the car business, Frank began investing in commercial real estate in CT and FL. Frank's notable accomplishments in CT include the 80 unit Breaker Beach Condominiums in Milford, the 20 unit condominium and 44 boat slips at Oyster Landing in Milford, the Boy's Village office portfolio pre-development in Milford and retail facilities for International Harvester in Milford, West Haven and Phoenix Arizona. In Sarasota, Frank developed the Sarasota City Center on Main Street pre-development and the Ashton Lakes Condominiums at the Tommy Bolt golf course. Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Madeleine and beloved children, Frank, Jr., Linda, Diane with husband Frank Kolbe, and Peter with wife Lisa, as well as their mother, Virginia; six wonderful grand children, Michael and Monica of Easton, CT, Patrick of Sarasota, FL, Christian of Kingston, NH, Matthew and Philip of Stratford, CT; sister, Dorothy Aldor of Sarasota and many nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Peter, Pat, Ralph, Salvatore and Robert and his sisters, Cecelia, Madeline, Carrie, Maryann and Betty. Friends are invited to pay their respects at 10:30 AM, and attend a Celebration of Life ceremony at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 40 North Orange Avenue, Sarasota.

Francis's**frank**Dinardo Family and Friends sorry for this sad news,Frank's obituary explains him perfect,I met Frank years ago through the automobile business i sold him a truck for one of his projects he wouldn't leave my shop till he got the truck for his price so we did business and became friends.
