Frank Duva Obituary

Frank Duva, 94, died Friday June 14, 2013 at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL.
On June 22, 1940 he and the former Gilda Bruno married in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and together they celebrated sixty-two years of love. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Charlotte O'Block of Painesville; and family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gilda (Bruno) Duva who died on January 1, 2003; and his parents, Carmen and Theresa Duva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Church, Mount Carmel Worship Site; Rev. Raymond Thomas presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio. If desired, contributions in Frank's name may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517,Topeka, KS 66675.
Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte-
Your dad was a true gem and one of the best from that greatest generation. He truly touched our hearts and we are so gratefully to have known him even for such a short while. We will miss him and our hearts are with you.
