Ken was a good friend and, in the true sense of the word, a craftsman with his work as a Contractor. He took great pride in his construction and his distinctive designs are a testimony to the thought he put into each project. It was a reward to have met and known him.

Our hearts go out the the family. Linda and I have known Ken and Carol since the mid 70's when Royal Colony Estates was being developed. We have always known Ken to be a great friend. We had great times together at Royal Colony and we especially enjoyed our times togther on our many visits to Sarasota with Ken and Carol. The homes Ken designed and built were simply uncomparable. I first met Ken when I purchased a lot at Royal Colony. I came to know him better after he offered to assist my brothers and me with his tractor saving us many hours of labor shoveling gravel. That was Ken, always ready to help a person in need. He was an honest man who you could deal with on a handshake. The planet has lost a good one in Ken Rocke. Ken left this world helping make it a better place. Our first grandchild, Nicholous McKinley was born the same day Ken left this material world. Thank you Ken, for all you have done and for allowing us to share many of lifes joys with you and Carol. Until we meet again, All Our Love, Dave and Linda McKinley.

So many memories come to me from our days in church and the old potluck gang; how fortunate we were to have shared those times. May God be your comforter in this time of loss.

I remember visiting at your home while on vacation in the winter of 1995 along with Doug Fehr, Dennie Roth, and Ken's sister Sharon. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with you Carol and Ken's family during this time of grief. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.
