Ushi, I just heard about this and I am so very sorry. You may not remember me, we lived across from you on 57th Street. You and Max were such wonderful neighbors and we always enjoyed visiting with you and Max. I lost Lewie in January of 2013 and my son Todd in December of 2013. They leave such big holes in our hearts and our lives. I hope that you can find the peace that seems to escape me. Love and prayers. Lynn Archibald

I am blessed to able to visit Max in their beautiful home last Feb. We talked about his Ringling days and he told me some Greatest Show on Earth movie stories. I wasn't ready for our visit to end. Thank you Max for the memories. RIP.

I grew up with Max (always Mr. Frimberger to the kids in the neighborhood) as our neighbor behind my house. Always helpful and resourceful. I remember how sad my parents were when Max and Uschi moved to their retirement home. May our Lord comfort Uschi, Heidi and Tammy on the loss of their husband and father.

I remember the 1st time we met Max, My family was working in the backyard on Desoto Road. When this Sheriff on a Harley Davidson drove threw the steep ditch pulled up to my dad and said " Hi, I'm your new neighbor Max Frimberger." I was 13 years old and thought Wow! he knows how to handle that Harley. To Heidi and Tammy and Mrs Frimberger my sympathy and prayers for your family in this time of need.

I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Max.I remember one of the first times I met him, soon after he left the military. He gave gave me a green wooden airplane. I was just a child then, but that kind, and generous gesture, will be with me forever. Once again my sincere condolences to you Ushi.

It was a special time and place growing up in the '70s in deSoto acres with the Frimbergers as our neighbors. Max taught my father German, and subsequently we all took German in school so we could all talk at the dinner table. Such wonderful memories, we will always cherish,... with love and condolence, the Haynes/Koch family.

MAX SERVED THE PEOPLE OF SARASOTA COUNTY FOR 25 YEARS IN THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE RETIRING AS THE JAIL CAPTAIN IN 1990. HE BROUGHT A STRONG WORK ETHIC TO THE MANY POSITIONS HE HELD THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. MAX WAS A GOOD MAN, A LOYAL AND DEDICATED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AND A PERSON I WAS GLAD TO CALL MY FRIEND. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DID DURING YOUR CAREER AND MAY GOD BLESS THE FAMILY.
