Mollie Cappisillo Obituary
She was born July 24, 1911, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Venice in 1971 from Queens, N.Y. She moved to St. Petersburg several years ago. She taught elementary grades in the New York City public school system for many years before retiring. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Petersburg, and a former member of Epiphany Cathedral, Venice.
Survivors include a sister, Virginia C. Padula, and a niece, Dorothy Parrinelli, both of St. Petersburg; and a nephew, Peter of Smithtown, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, N.Y. Ewing Funeral Home, Venice, handled arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
