I have never forgotten, and will never forget, the kindness, compassion, and wisdom of Fr. Cas. While at the Carmelite Junior Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts, he taught us not only with words, but more importantly by example. As his student, I learned that life is precious and that education should be a life-long pursuit. Thank you, Fr. Casimir, and may you rest in eternal peace. You were a good man. Tom Thorpe, CJS '67

Fr, Cas was a big influence on my life. His wise -cracks, his genuine concern and friendship when i was at Mt. Carmel H.S. and later in the seminary made him approachable and fun to be around. Prepare a way for us, Caz.

Fr. Casimir: As you are laid to rest today in your hometown of Joliet, IL, know that your many former students from the Carmelite High Schools across the country and seminarians from The former Carmelite Jr. Seminary in Hamilton, MA are thankful for your dedication and humor in which you enriched their lives and imparted knowledge and wisdom into their sometimes thick skulls.

Fr. Cas, as we affectionally called him, was one of the best teachers, counselors and role models I have ever known. His kindness, wisdom and example has never been forgotten. He will remain a beacon for me for the remainder of my life. His devoted student, Tom Thorpe CSJ '67

What a wonderful man! If ever there was someone who found his calling and lived it to the fullest, it was Father Caz. I have often thought of him through the years with joy in my heart for having known him. He will be truly missed.

Father Cas was an energetic teacher who captured his audiences with his enthusiasm. He kept himself fit and continued learning well into his senior years, Having lunch with him in Seattle while he was a teacher at Seattle University is a cherished moment for me. I will be thinking of him as I picture the Holy Cross church service next week in the neighborhood in which we grew up. And I will look forward to visiting his gravesite out on Theodore street when I next visit Joliet. I am sure that Our Lord has important plans for him. May he rest in heavenly bliss.
