Didinger, Raymond George
April 8, 1923 - Jan. 22, 2009

Raymond George Didinger, 85, Sarasota, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., died Jan. 22, 2009.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes Colonial Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Toale Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Marie; a son, Raymond R., of Philadelphia; grandchildren David and Kathleen; and great-granddaughters Haley and Kaitlyn.
Mr. Didinger was the son of the late Raymond E. and Margaret Didinger. He served as a navigator on a B-24 bomber during World War II. He continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve until 1983, retiring with the rank of major. He worked for the Welded Tube Company of America, based in Philadelphia and Chicago, as vice president of Engineering for 30 years, He retired in 1988.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Church of the Incarnation in Sarasota.
