Raymond Geist, 86, of Sarasota, FL, died on Sep. 27, 2017. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Lorna; three daughters, Rae Lynn (Mark, deceased), Karen, and Barbara; three grandchildren, Danny (Samantha) of Shreveport, LA, Samantha (David) of Riverview, and Ryan; great grandsons, James and Tylor. Ray was one of a kind. He had a quick wit about him and could drop a joke at the drop of a hat. He loved his best friend for life (Lorna) as well as his three daughters. He also loved his country & proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Services will be held at 1pm on Oct. 23, 2017 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. Funeral arrangements by National Cremation & Burial Society of Sarasota.
