Sandra E. Atwood, 62, of Venice, FL passed away peacefully on February 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 29, 1952 in Danbury, CT to Leroy and Barbara (Kernick) Burke. Sandra was a real estate escrow agent for many years, working for numerous attorneys and title companies in the South Florida, Orlando, and Sarasota Areas. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her daughter Julie, Sandra is survived by her loving husband Wayne, cherished children Courtney Green, Colette Chase, Katie Atwood, and Eric Atwood, precious grandchildren Haleigh, Connor, Zachary, Emma, Devon, Isabella, Sydney, Madelyn, and Allison, and dear sister Kathy Rynkewicz.
Sandra's life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 15th in the Sabal Chapel at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. She will be laid to rest in Venice Memorial Gardens.
