Steven Becker Obituary

Steven Becker 82, died June 24, 2015 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and lived for the last thirty-two years in Sarasota.
Steven was a graduate of the City College of New York, and a Korean War veteran. He graduated with an accounting degree, and had a distinguished thirty-year career as a financial executive. Steven was a member of Who's Who in Business.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Barbara Becker of Sarasota; his three children, Michael C. Becker of Marlboro NJ, Fran E. Rosenbluth of Sarasota Fl, and David S. Becker of Bradenton Fl. He had seven grandchildren Jennifer, Michelle, Laura, Amy, Rick, Jayna, and Jared; and two great grandchildren Alexander, and Maxwell.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m., June 28th at Toale Bros. Funeral Home at 6903 S. Tamiani Trail in Sarasota, graveside service to follow.
The family would appreciate in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to the Scleroderma Foundation at 300 Rosewood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923; or by phone at 1-800-722-4673.
