Susan Smith Licari passed away peacefully in the early evening hours of Saturday August 20th, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving widow of Jon C. Licari, and beloved sister of four. Born in Utica, NY. She spent her blissful early years with her loving family in Glastonbury CT. She was a graduate of Manatee Junior college in 1982 with an Associate Degree in Arts. A 45 year resident of Sarasota, she was a well-respected and dedicated professional in the Legal and Health Care industries. She will be laid to rest alongside her mother Marilyn L. Smith at Sarasota Memorial Park. A celebration of Susan's life will be held September 02, between 6-9 at the South Gate Community Center, 3145 South Gate Circle in Sarasota. A charitable donation can be made on her behalf to The Humane Society of Sarasota and the Selby Public Library. Arrangements are by Jennings Funeral Home & Crematory.
