Thomas Lanava Obituary
Jan. 7, 1928 - June 12, 2008
Thomas J. Lanava, 80, Englewood, formerly of Millbury, Mass., died June 12, 2008.
A memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Englewood. Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a stepson and his wife, Stephen and Eunice Buck of Brookfield, Ill.; brothers Al and Joseph, both of Worcester, Mass.; a sister, Anna Walsh of Worcester; and two grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a life member of the Englewood Elks Lodge and the Englewood VFW Post, and a member of Englewood Moose Lodge and Knights of Columbus Council of St. Raphael's.
Donations may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
