Richard VanDenBerg Obituary

VanDenBERG, RICHARD DAVID; age 72; of Dearborn; passed away December 26, 2013 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. He was born November 22, 1941 the son of Richard and Roberta (Hoag) VanDenBerg in Dearborn, Michigan. Prior to his retirement, Richard worked for over 30 years for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, as a Corrosion Protection Engineer. He is survived by his loving wife, Mearla J. (Everett) VanDenBerg, two sisters: Marcia Mealbach and LaDeana (Phil) Hahnert, a nephew: Bill Mealbach and a great niece, Meghann Mealbach. Richard is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton 810-229-9871 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Brighton Assembly of God, 7770 Whitmore Lake Rd., Brighton, 48116.
