Robert Edmund Helm

Helm, Robert Edmund; 71; of Port Huron; ddied Thursday, December 11, 2014. He was born April 3, 1943, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert J. and Ruth M. Helm. Robert practiced law in Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and Saginaw. He attended the University of Wisconsin where he played in the marching band, before graduating from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. In retirement, Robert worked as a Docent at the Maritime Museum of San Diego on the Star of India and enjoyed photography and writing. He is survived by his sons, Robert R. Helm of New Orleans, Louisiana and Michael Helm of Clawson; grandchildren, Robert M. Helm, Andrew Helm, Alex Helm, and Zachary Helm; and two siblings, John Helm and Susan Thomas, both of Coatesville. Private Family Services will be held.
