Phillip Wayne Witte, age 53, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at his home.
Phillip was born on May 30, 1965, in Washington, Missouri. He was a son of Howard and Virginia Maxine (Wiss) Witte, who both survive in Rhineland, Missouri.
He is also survived by a brother, Steve Witte of Fulton, Missouri; a sister, Janet Cobb and husband Dave of Montgomery City, Missouri; a sister, JoAnn Mattingly and husband Dave of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; a brother, John Witte and wife Jeanie of Hermann,Missouri; a sister, Mary Ellen McCleary of Jefferson City, Missouri; a brother, Keith Witte and wife Sheila of Hermann, Missouri; a sister, Linda Ochs and husband Greg of Lee's Summit, Missouri; a brother Brad Witte and wife Susan of Fenton, Missouri; a sister, Tina Hartzell and husband Scott of, Gaylordsville, Connecticut; a brother Mike Witte and wife Cheryl of Wentzville, Missouri; and a brother, Tim Witte of Forest Hill, Maryland; and by many nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a brother, David Witte; by a brother-in-law, Robert McCleary; and a sister-in-law, Debra Witte.
Phillip was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, Missouri, and the 3rd Degree of Knights of Columbus, Montgomery City, Missouri.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Rhineland, Missouri.
Memorials may be given to Thompson Center "Center for Autism," Columbia, Missouri, in care of Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
