Charles Price CAROLINA SHORES, N.C. Charles Thomas "Tom" Price, 76, of Carolina Shores, N.C., passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at Mt. Vernon Towers in Sandy Springs, Ga., after a period of declining health. Tom was born in Catawba County to the late Earl and Desola Deal Price. He was married to Jeanne Spry Price, who passed away in December 2004, for 46 years. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Price. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He graduated from Hickory High School with the class of 1953 and worked in sales in the country music industry in Nashville, Tenn., for many years. Survivors include two sons, Brad Price and wife, Tiffany, of Clarksville, Ind., and David Price and wife, Carrie, of Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Gene Price of Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the chapel of Hickory Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Ferrarone officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
