Cody Lee Sigmon-Lewallen

April 20, 1988 - October 1, 2023

Cody Lee Sigmon-Lewallen, 35, of Longview passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his home.

Born March 20, 1988 in Myrtle Beach, SC, he was the son of Steven Ray Lewallen and the late Audrey Elaine Sigmon. In addition to his mother, Cody was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Lee Sigmon, Sr; his paternal grandfather, Carlos Lewallen; and six aunts and uncles, Kenneth Lee Sigmon Jr, "Bunny" Bolick, Roy Buchanan, Charles Buchanan, Claude and Linda Buchanan.

Cody was a member of Longview Baptist Church. He was a computer whiz who enjoyed online gaming. He also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, Steven Ray Lewallen (Kathy), Cody is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary Buchanan Sigmon; his paternal grandmother, Naomi Lewallen; three brothers, Levi Dalton Bolick, Michael Ray Lewallen (Rebecca) and family, and John William Lewallen (Crystal) and family; his uncle, Charles Odell "Tater" Bolick; three aunts, Joanne Wiley and family, Pat Buchanan, and Barbara Buchanan; and his cousins, Steve Bolick, Charles Bolick, Kim Ewing, Chuck Buchanan, Amy Martin, Dawn Yount, Brad Buchanan, and Jesse Dawn Sigmon and family.

A celebration of Cody's life was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Longview Baptist Church with Pastor Joe McRary officiating. The family received friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Longview Baptist Church, 205 24th St SW, Hickory, NC 28602.
