I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember spending many weekends with Connie and Joe sitting round playing cards and talking and oh yea lets not forget the many all nighters playing bingo. She helped me get through the first of many weekends when I had to let my son go on weekends to his dad's and she also taught me to make the most awesomeness roast in the country. She may be gone but will never be forgotten. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time

From years ago, I will always remember our afternoons waiting behind Old Town Elementary School to pick our kids up each day. She introduced me to my first homegrown tomato sandwich. She taught me how to brew a pitcher of true Southern Sweet Tea. She demonstrated the correct way to plant in a flower box. She took me to my first Bingo game. She was my neighbor and friend too many years ago and now...she is gone.
When it comes time for us to part this planet, when we look back on our time here, we want to be remembered. I will always remember Connie.
My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to all the family and friends.
God Bless.

Our condolences in the passing of a kind and sweet lady. Connie was a wonderful sister-in-law, neighbor, helper and friend to my mother (Ruby) for as long as Mom was able to live at home. To my Uncle Joe and the children and grandchildren--may you have comfort in knowing that Connie is now done with all suffering and is in the presence of the Lord. (II Corinthians 5:8)
