Dennis Charles Hoyle, 68, of Newton, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born December 11, 1955, in Prince George County, VA to the late R.C. Hoyle and Ethel Coleen Parson Hoyle. Dennis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Conover and was employed in the trucking industry for over 47 years. He enjoyed researching genealogy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Allen Hoyle and Ronald Cullen Hoyle; and sister, Paula Elaine Seregi. Those left to cherish his memory are sister, Cherry Jenkins and husband, Mike of Claremont; mother of his children, Cindy Hand of Maiden; sons, John Matthew Hoyle of Lincolnton, Adam Charles Hoyle and wife, Katie Lindley of Newton; daughters, Danielle Hoyle of Newton, April Lowe of Conover; 10 Grandchildren, Rhiannon Lowe, Cameron Lloyd, Tavion Kennedy, Layla Kennedy, Reese Hoyle, Kynadee Hoyle, Parker Hoyle, Leland Hoyle, Lawson Hoyle, and Hunter Hoyle.
A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 12 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Conover. Bishop Yupheng Ly will officiate. Burial will follow at Severt Family Cemetery in West Jefferson, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those serving as pallbearers will be John Matthew Hoyle, Adam Charles Hoyle, Jeff Curtis, Morris Hoyle, Bryan Hoyle, and Tavion Kennedy. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be sent to the Hoyle family at www.bennettfuneralservice.com. The Hoyle family is in the care of Bennett Funeral Service of Newton, 828-465-2111.
