Hi Amy. I thought I had your home address. I wanted to send you a card to let you know how sorry I was to hear about your dad. I know how important he was to you, you to him, and that you will forever be Daddy´s Girl. Please know that you and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!

Don was one of a kind. He was my pastor at Dudley for nearly 40 years before he retired. He baptized me, married my husband and me, preached my grandparents funeral, and also my dad´s funeral just a few months ago. My father and Don were very close and both passed from this dreadful disease. Forever missed by many, but oh how many lives he touched. They´ll never be another like Don!!!

Rodney & all the family,
Pastor Don was so special to so many! Whether from church, the hospital, as a pastor to the "pastorless", thru the funeral home, or to anyone hurting, Don could just show up, and things were better!
He ministered to my family several times, and I grew to just love him!
After my wreck, he came to see me at Frye. He was wearing the greatest tie with cats all over it!
I love cats, and told him that day,I thought it wasnt possible to like him more, and then he showed up wearing that tie! lol
He was wonderful and loved by all!
You were so blessed to have him as family!
He leaves a huge void here on earth, but ohhh, how much he gave!
I am heartbroken along with you.
Many prayers for comfort & peace.

Pastor Don blessed my heart so much as I know he did to many many others during his lifetime. A man who TRUELY walked the walk.
He surely heard "Well done" when he joined our Lord and savior on Christmas Eve! Such a precious soul.....that ALWAYS took the time to talk and listen
What a legacy he has left for his precious family. He will be soooo missed. And we were so blessed to know him!

What a wonderful, loving pastor. I will always be grateful for Don. Almost 25 years ago, he preached my mother's funeral. 15 years ago he preached my father's funeral. Forever grateful, he will be missed.
